Default Rear end and tranny fluid changes

My truck now has 5300 miles on it. I plan on putting in either mobil1 or royal purple synthetic in for the next oil change at 10000. My question is, when can I change the rear end and tranny to synthetic? And when I do change those fluidshow often do I need to keep doing it? Also I plan on using a KN oil filter, is this a good oil filter?

You can change the rear end & tranny fluid any time. I swapped mine out at about 10k to Redline (C+ ATF in tranny & tcase, 75w90 in front diff, 75w140 in rear diff) and dont plan on touching them again until 100k. But since you have an automatic trans, I would change the tranny fluid every 60k, assuming you're using a good synthetic.

Unless they've changed, Dodge was putting synthetic in the rear diff from the factory. If that's still the case, you could wait until the 30k mark and change to your high end synthetic fluids in both the diff and tranny at that time, unless you just want to do it sooner...

Yep, stock diff fluid is synthetic. Tranny interval is 30K,

flat filter every change, spin-on every other. Interval on diff is 15K.
