I have a 05 ram with a new pioneer head unit that only works with xm. I dont even think I would pay for the service even if I had the stock radio in it now. So I was thinking about selling it. Problem is I bought the truck used and all I can see is the small black antenna on the roof... with the wire going into the tan part of the interior where you grip on to get in. Anyone know where the sirius box is installed?

 

I've heard its behind the glove box.

 

if u have the pioneer 6000 it works with sirius as well. if you want sirius for that unit u need the DEI SCC1 box and the Pioneer CDSB10 box

 

If u find Sirius box and decide to sell it. Please let me know.

I'm sure they will in due time.... don't wanna rush these things....

 

They got the approval last week for Sirius to buyout XM. I believe that the buyout was also finalized last week. The new name is
Sirius XM.
