Change Oil Warning ?

I changed my oil for the first time on my truck, the Change oil warning cam on around 5200 miles, I changed the oil and I figured the warning would go away, it has not. How do I make it go away?

I think you have to turn the key to "on" without starting the engene.

and floor it 3 times, turn the key to off, and then start her up,

Yep, get in close door, turn key to run without starting. Depress gas pedal to the floor three times. turn key off. You're done.
