Hey guys, just installed my tow mirrors! Here are some pics, and I'd like to let you know, if you are planning on installing them, there is a tight fit between the door panel, so if you want, its' a good idea to take the screws out of the door panel, but you don't need to take it off completely. Yeah, it's dirty, I'm gonna wash it when the sun goes down.

 

Looks great. That's an item that I never would have thought to add in a million years, but now that my truck came with them, I'm spoiled and wouldn't own a truck without them again...

 

Looks great... I got them on my truck when I bought it and I'm glad I did. I love them and wouldn't have a truck without them again either. The best thing is when you flip them into "tow" mode, the controls still work in the right direction, i.e. up is up in the tow mode even though the mirror has rotated 90 degrees.

Tow mirrors are nice! I just installed them on mine too, and I do like them. One thing is I wish the convex mirrors covered a bit more area. I had gotten used to the round stick-ons for being able to see curbs when backing and turning. I just added a 2" round adjustable stick-on and that fixed me up.

I was a little concerned about losing some mpg...but I managed 20mpg on a recent 250 mile round trip with cruise set to 65.

WOW! I drove it for the first time today with the tow mirrors, and what a difference! Much better! Wayy better visibility!

 

I want them sooooo bad. I know it is against the Ten commandments to covet. But I am very close to breaking that commandment.
