I installed the 2.5 TGC and love it. I haven't had any problems with it whats-so-ever! Just make sure you align you truck right after.

So has anyone had the wobbling issues in 4wd? I am going back and forth on the HBS vs. TGC kit. I'm also going back and forth on 2" vs. 2.5".
Does the extra half inch cause any issues over the 2"? I'm just curious why they make both.
The HBS is $75 (from their website + shipping). The TGZ is $91.95 (free shipping from their website).
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Well, i bought a new 2008 1500 ram. never used 4wd on the road until last week. So, I don't know if there was a problem before, or it my leveling kit caused it. But wobbling, no, just plain major shuddering/shimmying.
here's some history:
I took it to the dealer last friday, they diagnose the problem as a bent front driveshaft (from the transfer case to the front differential). they replace it with a new one. and told me the problem was gone after a test drive.
Sunday we got some snow, i put it in 4wd and the extreme shudder is still there. back to the dealer this morning. they have no idea what the problem is and want to keep it and try some other things.
now, they have no idea about the front end leveling kit i installed. as I also installed a rear add-a-leaf so the truck still has a slight rake to the front. next to a stock truck the entire truck is higher, but by itself you really don't see the lift.
anyway, i thought i installed a 2" HBS level kit, but just found out that it was actually a 2.5" level kit. so now I am wondering if that is what the problem is.
grrrrr i hate the setup of these trucks. this is my 4th dodge, and i wish i never sold my 2001. I should have just bought the 2500.
if my experience is any indication of a 2.5" level kit, then stick with the 2" kit.

i got the 2.5" tgc kit last week for $91.95 with free shipping. Put it on last friday. Took 3 or so hours and was a fairly easy install ( makes it easier if you have a buddy to help lift things) The hbs looks to be a similar design so just pick one and get it. doesnt matter which one you get. They are both made of steel and painted black. I had it aligned right after the install. Youll love it.. I havent noticed any problems, havent used 4x4 yet but ill go find some mud to play in and let ya know....
