id get a 2.5in. you could get a 35. you hit a big bump it may rub a little but it should be ok. id go with a readylift since you have a 4x4. im pretty sure the backspacing is 4.5 on a 35 but not sure. thats a 35 with a 20in rim. someones gotta check me on that. but 35 will be your biggest tire and itll be a lil tight but look good

I put the ready lift 2.5 on my 07 1500 QC 4.7 4X4. The lower edge of the front fender wheel well above the tire was 37.5 inches before and 40 inches after with the stock 245/70/17's. Just recently put 315/70/17 goodrich AT's on pro comp 17X9 mods with 4.5 inch backspacing. They fill out the wheel well good and have had no problems with rubbing. Lock to lock---no problems. Some of the places I park the wheels stuff up pretty good and I've seen no problems. I have also taken it on the beach and have had no problems with rubbing anywhere. I am very happy with this combonation. Once again this was with a 2 1/2" leveling kit that finished off at the height I noted earlier. A 2" may only allow 305's.
BTW that combo does stick out a little, but not bad. Not important for me now but I'm thinking of going with some of the bushwacker extend a fender flares. Nothing big but based on my experience 15 years ago with a couple big bronco's I owned (before everybody lifted and went with oversized tires) the cops loved pulling me over when I didn't have fender flares.

tire and rim
I did the same thing to my truck and I didn't like those crappy Goodyear 265's that come with it so I went with some Nitto Terragrapplers 305-55-r20's. I love the tire itself but when you stand them side by side they are NO taller than my Goodyears I took off. Something about being 20" rims they can't go any taller. I had slight rubbing when steering hard over or bumps but 1/4" wheel spacers up front fixed the prob.

He's right about the 35's. I just installed a 2.5 leveling kit and am running 35" bfg all terrains with no rub at all in the two weeks since i've had them. They do look a little snug and I wouldn't be suprised if they rubbed on a big bump here and there but on the everyday stuff they are great.
