Default Difference between 07-08 1500 5.7 QC/SB Exhaust Hangers

I searched for about 30min and could not find a definitive answer to this questions. Called Mopar, no help there either. Does anyone know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, if the exhaust hanger locations from the 2007 1500 5.7 QC/SB are in the same exact position as the 2008 1500 5.7 QC/SB? I'm trying to get this question answered in the next 3 hours to decide between killer deals between Magnaflow Catback Duals or a Gibson Super Truck. Both are for the 2007's. I called Magnaflow and asked if the 2007 mounts on a 2008, they said no 07 is not interchangeable between 08, buy a new kit. I then called Gibson and asked the same question, they said yes, 07 fits 08. I just don't really trust either of them, hoping someone here can shed some light.

What does it matter, if they don't line up, cut em and re-weld them where they need to be, or leave them for future use and just buy some or fab them up and weld them on. Almost all my original hangers are just sitting there, unused. I doubt I'm still using more than a couple of them...

Most of mine are the little rubber deals for absorbing shock with the hook on the end for connecting to the pipe (these are cheap and all auto parts stores have them, they are great for absorbing shock, so you don't have problems, especially off the pavement) welded to a piece of flat stock which is then welded to the frame. Grinded and painted with Rustoleum. No biggie...

Thanks I needed that little push over the edge to go with the Magnaflow. I guess we can close this thread.

if your looking for good flow and not very loud, go with the magnaflow. as hammer said its not a big deal if they dont line up. most of my hangers are just hanging there from the factory exhaust. and the rubber things are nice.

Not yet, I ended up buying the Dual Magnaflow for the 07 model. Once it arrives I will know if it fits the 08 as well and will be sure to post.

Was/Is it the Magnaflow 16700? If so, I put that on my 08 about 4 months ago. Absolutely fantastic..no issues.
