So i have an 04 QC Hemi 4x4. I uploaded the economy setting with my superchips flashpaq tuner and after doing so noticed that while coming to stops that it would downshift hard. Not knowing if this is typical or good for the truck. i returned it to the stock tuning and now i have no problems with any "hard downshifts".Any information about this would be appreciated.

Feels great, don't it. You should also be feeling much firmer up shifts as well. It's a FAQ on the Superchip forum. We've gotten so used to the built in "slip" of transmissions that we've forgotten or have never known what a crisp gear change feels like.
The programmed slip makes for a smoother ride, but actually will lead to a shorter transmission life than the firmer shifts that the tuner provides you...

They lied, I know, I know, a car dealer that tells an untruth, what is the world coming too?
FAQ #1 on the Superchips website and I quote (actually cut & paste):
Question # 1 Will it void my warranty? No. It is illegal for a dealership to void your warranty based solely on the fact that you have installed an aftermarket product.
Now that's not saying if they could PROVE, the aftermarket product damaged your vehicle they couldn't deny you warranty coverage, but they are obligated under Magnuson/Moss to prove it.
BTW: it would be to your benefit to Google the Magnuson/Moss Act and read it, not just for your truck, but for any consumer purchases you may make. Know your rights so you won't get shafted! You'll not need to purchase as much vasoline or KY Jelly that way....
