I bought a 2002 tailgate liner on ebay and it dosent fit what the hell? its like to short.The tags still on it....says 2002 ram. My trucks a 2005 but I thought 2002-2005 was the same ....Please help

I bet its for a 2002 2500/3500 which would be a diff tailgate from a 1500
