Default Exhaust Question - 2008 Ram 1500 Hemi

I just bought a 2008 Ram QC 1500 2wd with the Hemi. It appears that it has two mufflers, one in the normal spot and one closer to the tip.

I like that it already has a bit of a rumble stock but i'd like to get a little more sound. If I remove the rear muffler (or whatever it is) will I get a better sounding exhaust? I need to check to make sure they're arent any O2 sensors that would be affected.

The rear thing you see is a resonator, if you remove it you'll get more resonation or "drone" when MDS is engaged.

When I removed one of the resonators after putting a magnaflow muffler in the exhaust did get louder and the tone changed some.
