Default 2hrs old problems already

spent all my money, 3500 dually, cummins 6.7, auto with all the bells
home from the dealer last night, about 45mins. no problems,
start it this morning, just to move it over in the driveway. major problems ,
engine light is on. when placed in gear it lunges and rpm is all over
stalled twice,
restarted let idle for 5mins. then would go in gear and would not get over 1ths
rpm. and is surging all over, in forward and reverse, what could be wrong?
this is a major knife in the back.
bought the truck for a trip I am going on this thursday, uggggghhh

could be, but you would think that I would have noticed something on the way home from the dealer last night. sputtering or stalling, nothing ran like a top.

You don't think the dealer put gas in there do you? I doubt it though since you did make it home..

Hook up a scanner and post the code..

If it's new, take it back and let the dealer see whats wrong!! That would be the easy thing to do!

damn, sry to hear that bro. most definitely drive to the dealership, and DEMAND it get taken care of right now!! not "i'd like it by thursday" either, but go in there like you were on your way to get a turret installed in the bed. Even if they take longer, push to get a like truck for your trip, or even just take a different truck home completely if you haven't driven more than a few miles.

Buddy of mine I play golf with is GM of a Dodge dealership, says he's "Lemon Lawed" out more 6.7 CTDs since they came out in '07 than all other Dodge trucks combined over an 11 year period as the GM of two different dealerships.

NOT GOOD!!!

dealer has been good so far, they had it towed back to their place and they are looking at it now.a lot of responses from three salesmen and two people from service, good thing I didn't trade in my 97 ford, will find out tonight what the deal is with it, hope it's something stupid.
