Default Quarter Panel question

i have an 02 QC and i have really bad rock chips on the quarter panels in the back and the front. i was wondering what you guys do. i want to repaint it but its like $ 900. ive seen ppl use like bed liner down there and it looks good. i just want to know what everyone thinks about it or if there is other options. i have mud guards but i wont put them on till i fix the paint. i also have 45s out the back and i drive like 5mph up my driveway now lol

Theres a product online that alot of drag-racers use that covers the bottom of the quarters to keep the rubber from attacking the paint. It's a clear plastic film that sticks to the paint, but won't hurt the paint. You'd never know it's there if you weren't really looking for it.

Not sure the exact name, but it is out there.

i wanted to rhino line the quaterpanels, bed, and bumpers, to get everything all black with my tinted windows then powder coat the wheels flat black. The thing would look OG. but the spray on bedliner is perfect, ive seen a couple like this and it looks badass. get the good spray on's to so it doesn't fade. But also everyone with the stock 20" wheels, these things look way badass flatblack, i thought it would look ackward but its not.
