Save my money, right! I've had no appreciable income since I moved down here to take care of the folks. Just a piddly little asst. golf pro job over the winter and some small investment income (retirement type, that I'm using to pay the bills with now)...

Interesting you should mention the CTD though, I spied this one tonight, the place was closed, but I'll be making an inquiry tomorrow. The only thing is to get this though, the truck would have to go and the Jeep stay as the daily driver, because I cannot foresee me using this as a Daily Driver!!!

I have no idea what they want for it, it's got one of those used car stickers where they type in the specs, options & price. Said '05, 5.9 6 cyl., 37,984 miles and 3 month/3600 mile warranty, I guess they throw that in so you got time to catch anything wrong off the lot. No price, KBB has a retail of about $25k, of course without the monster lift, but as the dealers are so fond to tell me when I've gotten the urge to shop my truck, the mods are not worth a dime, so we'll see...

see, that's something you might want to trade in for, soemthing you ACTUALLY WANT!!
get the torque bump you've been wanting, so you "save" the KRC cam cost. alls you gotta do is snag the winch and toolbox off the gasser, and you're good to go.

...and all your chrome stuff

They must be asking high for it, I mentioned seeing it on the on the phonw to this girl whose house I was coming from when I spotted it. The dealer is only about 1/2 from her place. She said the truck has been on the lot before he daughter got out of school for the summer. So that's like the beginning of May. I'm looking at book values and am thinking it's not unreasonable to get it for my truck and $10,000. Any higher than that and I walk.
Oh yea, and mmstar, you didn't make a mess when you 'nutted, did ya'?

Sounds like a trailer to tow your ATV would be a lot cheaper, I'm sure that Jeep has enough guts to tow it. Then your not limited when you want to go trail riding.

There are tons of trucks out there with very low mileage on them if you would rather have a 4x4 or a quad cab for more room. Thats the one thing you have to consider too, I have an SUV that I drive a lot and let the truck sit at home, makes it kind of nice since it is much easier on gas and still has plenty of room inside.
