I would go with the one with the longer warranty.Thats just me tho.

 

My egr valve just went out bout a month ago.. it started off, the cel would come on then off, then shortly after the truck started running like ****, so i brought my old school brains out thought to my self, How bout i jus block it off? used to work on old school motors, well it does help out alot, but if ur like me i hate seeing that ugly orange cel..so i bought a new 1.
b4 i blocked it off, my truck would shift way way early an gas mileage got poor..
so u could get some gasket meterial, to block it off if u dont hab the money at the moment, or buy a new 1..

 

I just got the CEL today at 63K miles, 05 Hemi. Is this most likely the EGR or should I have someone hook it up to read the code?

 

Mine came on this weekend...18,500 miles (04 Hemi). Took it to AutoZone and they confirmed EGR circuit failure. They couldn't say whether it was a bad sensor or EGR valve though. They cleared the code and it hasn't come back on yet...though the engine seems to surge between 1K-1.5K RPM's (like when leaving a stop light). Just bought the truck and it came with a 3/36 b-to-b warranty so I'm gonna take it in to the dealer.
