That's a big switch, from a Marauder to a Pickup! But if you have determined that your wants and/or needs is for a full sized, current used model pickup, then I believe the Ram with Hemi is the best choice out there...
I may be a little biased, but I've had seven full size pickups over the last 25 years. One Jeep J10, a Ford Diesel, Ford gasser, two GMs and two Dodge's and both Dodges, with the only possible exception of the Jeep (but it was my first, so it's kinda like your first girlfriend, always gonna be "special") are by far my favorites...

Only you can be the judge of that. If you are asking about the reliability, availability of aftermarket performance parts, or over-all thoughts of the truck, I say hell yes, jump on it!
But I'm not a car guy, have not owned one myself since I was 19 and I'm now 41. Closest I've come since is an SUV or Jeep Wrangler.
You need to determine if you are a car guy or a truck guy. If you WANT a truck and can live without a car, GO FOR IT.
Personally, there's not a car made I'd rather have than a 4x4 pickup, but that's me, my needs and my preferences.
