What Tires to get? 20's
I think I'm going to need some new tires before the end of the year or before winter, so I am going to start to compare. I have the 20" rims, and the size is 275/60-20. What did you guys put on your 20" rims? Im on my second pair of Goodyears, last time i got new tires (in 2005) i didn't have much of a choice, so i went OEM.
Well, even though you have a 4x4, it doesn't appear you have it set up for what would be my personal favorites. But every report I've read on the Cooper Zeons has been excellent...
been a hell of a predicament for me too. hard to find tires for the 20s. i'm halfway thinking bout buyin a set of used 17's for winter use. it's either that or buncha sand bags and lots of 4wd
Boggers or Claws baby, Boggers or Claws...

I have been more than happy with both my sets of Toyo's. the M/T's i had. and hte A/T i have on now.
The A/t's i have only have about 10k on them now. but they are wearing really well, are quiet and were a really good winter tire this year.

All kidding aside, I've read great reports on the Zeons, but personally, if I ever was going to not buy a Mickey Thompson or Dick Cepek tire, the only other tire I'd consider would be the Toyo M/T.
But my wants/need are not the same as yours, JST. The Toyo A/T's are a great tire as well, not quite aggressive enough for me, but still a great tire. My Cepek FCII's are about the least aggressive I'd own, don't get me wrong, here, they are a FANTASTIC tire, but if not for the 350 miles of mostly highway between my parents (where I'm stuck for a while, most of you know my situation) and my place, I'd have a set of MTZ's or Baja Claws. But for a fairly aggressive tire that still maitains great highway handling and super long wear, the FCII's fit the bill for me perfectly...
