Default for those with leveling kits!

well over the weekend i got new rotors and pads, but thats besides the point. i got my new rancho shocks that are 2" longer and they are great! with the b***er knobby tires i still feel a lot of stuff in the road, but nothing compared to what it was. anyone afraid of leveling because of the harsh ride or have installed one and want to make the ride better, have no more worries, shocks are your answer!

actually my shocks were so bad and over extended 100% of the time, that my truck actually sits higher now with the longer shocks!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm gonna put on a leveling kit. I was on the fence about shocks. You just changed that. Thanks

Use a c clamp or large pair of channel locks to push the piston back in the caliper, make sure the seal is seated properly then. No special tool needed.

Ireland: no special tools for the caliper diasembly. not sure on the size sockets, but i just used 2 sockets. thats all and obviously a c clamp to compress the piston back in.

Tankz: i went with rancho 5000's

Hemi power: smallest ive seen is 1". i put 1" on mine and i think its great. if you want 1/2" or 3/4".......break out the grinder haha
