8 or 10 ply???
well I am running out of tread on my 36x13.50R20 IROK Radials...after 30K miles they have done great...better than i expected, I think i can squeez another 5K out of them before they are bald......I just purchased 2 of the new ones...same tires but they asked if i wanted 8 or 10 ply tires....i've had 10 ply on the whole time....but I went with the 8ply this time.....is there any change that I'll notice????

What have you used your truck for? The 10 ply is a work tire, with a higher psi ratting, if your off road, the extra 2 ply help with the strength of the tread, but don't offer any thing extra in the sidewall, also, 10 ply tires still get flats' from nails and screws.
If your not working the your truck in a construction site and just driving for pleasure the extra 2 ply that a E rated tire offers is not worth the extra bucks, most light trucks are C rated, but a few come new from the factery with P rated tires, Hancooks are the standard chioce on the F-150, their P rated..
