Default Modding can be addicting and I need advise about it!

So just a few months ago I bought my 05 QCSB 4.7 ram 1500. I put a 50 series DOR Flowmaster system and am looking to do more. I have two questions.
The first question is about cams...
I have been informed that there will be a programmer for the 4.7 coming out in the near future. I was wondering that with the addition with the programmer whta would be the best cam for my truck. They have the H/O cam which nets around 20-25RWHP and requires no tunning. On top of that would be a 206 cams, which would require programming, but should produce a little more HP but a ton more torque. Then there is the 212X which just came out, also requires a programmer, this is supposed to be a combo to recieve the torque of the 206 but the HP of the original 212. So I am kinda confused about what to do.
The second question is about intakes...
If I was to go with the higher performance cams I would need to make some additions to the intake and exhaust. I know that I want to go with gibson headers, and x-pipe, free-flowing magnaflow cats, and dual AeroTurbine 3030's. That leaves me with the question of what to do about the Intake. I am between 4 intakes right now. They are the TrueFlow XDI, Volant CAI, K&N FIPK, and the AEM Brute Force. They all seem to be good, but which one is going to get me the most amount of cool air, along with the greatest amount of airflow, into my engine? Which one will create the most amount of power with that systems?
Like I said modding is addicting and I would appreciate any advise that you guys can give me.

i would just recommend against the first came. unless you're just racing it, a strictly high end horsepower cam will not be what you want. you want, torque, and as much of it as you can get.

as far as intakes, honestly, i think they're all about the same. the only difference will really just be the filter element. the Mopar intake is actually a Brute Force in disguise, so maybe that has something going for it?

Like freejay said, the cams you want depend on what your needs are. If you tow a decent amount you'll want more low-end torque....if you always have your foot in it racing little imports then you'll want some ponies higher in the power band. As far as the programmer, if there isn't one available i'm sure you can get a dyno tune...which is far better anyway. You might also be able to get some custom grind cams..

I dunno what your budget is like but OHC engines love FI...if there's a blower available for the 4.7 i'd look into it if I were you.

The KRC 212X is an awsome cam for a heavy quad cab 4x4 4.7. It's the only one out there that gives you the best of both worlds, high end HP & low end Torque. My fla. house I have with my parents is only about 3 miles from KRC, so not only do I get to see a lot of trucks that have been there, but once in a while I'll stop by to shoot the bull. They are passionate about what they do and will take the time to talk to you there. Often while working on a vehicle, even had the head tech say "hop in" to test drive one to go along on a test drive.
Nobody I've talked to with the 4.7 and the 212x has been disappointed at all...

Yeah the 212x cam has been the one that I have seriously been looking at. I think that it is a great cam for all around purposes. I am probably between the TrueFlow XDI and Volant for my CAI though.
And where would I go to get something dyno-tuned and how much would it cost on average?

Anyone have any info on how much it would cost to get my truck dyno-tuned and where I could do it in the chicago area? Also how much RWHP and RWTQ those 212x produce?
