Default Hardwire for ipod?

Hi guys, please check out this video. At 3:35 into the video the guys shows a wire he installed to plug into his mp3 player through the factory stereo. It looks like he ran a wire through the back of the dash to the radio somehow. DOes anyone have any ideas as to how he did this? What parts are needed if any? I would live to keep the factory stereo and still be able to use the ipod in my truck. Thanks

yeah by the sounds of it, it should just plug into the back where you would plug in your cd changer/satelite radio.

Default Ipod cable

It's called a interface cable. Plugs into rear of factory radio and you can use steering wheel controls. Cable plugs into ipod. Great sound, runs about $130 thru crutchfield.
