Offer them $27,500 OTD. That is a nicely equipped truck, gotta be cautious someone else might beat you to it.

I got mine for 30.5K in January with pretty much the same options, except I have a 2500 and I got the tube steps, crome siding, bug shield, and spray in over the rail bed liner. You could probably get 1000 more off? I got 5725 in rebates

Thanks for all the input. I thought that it was a good price because the company that I work for is a Dodge/Chrysler affiliate and we're suppose to get special pricing. The dealer even showed me their invoice and the price before taxes/reg/fees was below their cost - the affiliate price was printed right on the invoice.

Guess it's time to play hard ball.

There are 4 other Dodge dealerships within 45 minutes of each other near me so I'll just tell them they can either deal with me or I'll move on to the next one. Plenty of other 1500's to pick from.

Default 50% off

Here in Tampa, Fl a lot of dealerships are running a special 50% off deal on all 2008 1500. I just got mine. They literally took 50% off the sticker price and threw in some extras for free.

I was at a dealer in Portsmouth, NH and they had brand new 2008 Laramie's 4x4 Quad Cab on the lot loaded up. I looked at one with 20's, power heated leather, sunroof, and the works - they were discounting to $28,900....SLT's were down to anywhere from $21g-25g depending on options. The only trucks that they are giving 40% off of MSRP were 2WD Rams.....

Was that out-the-door?? Any rebates included in there?
