Stock LSD in 91/4 Ram 1500 Axle.
Just thought I'd post up, about having finally replaced my stock LSD with a DTT.
It's got about 30 miles or so on it at the moment and I'm going real easy, to start out with.
One thing I have noticed is, that the Ram now doesn't have that "shudder" when pulling away from a stop.
My gear man says, that's because of the new LSD not having the clutch arrangement that the stocker had. The DTT has helical gears in it's torque management and not a clutch pack.
The Hemi is real smooth now.
Anyhow, I'm glad I now don't have that grenade waiting for me in the diff anymore.
