I Have a 2005 dodge ram with the infinity system, i replaced the head unit with an alpine flipout, now since i did that i lost the 3 tweeters on top of the dash and just have the front doors and rear speakers playing. I tried the metra harness with the rca ends to it but it didint work corretcly i had to sound out of them
pretty much all i want to know is does anyone have an aftermarket radio and still have there 3 tweeters on the dash playing and how they did it!!

All the harness does that i think you are thinking of is bypass the amp, which mine is how that is not, that plug plugs into the output side from the amp, so when the signal goes from radio through the plug it only still does to the regular speakers not the tweeters, unless you have done it this way then im completely wrong

Well before I added just a new hu and sub and amp and all my speakers worked including the dash speakers ut now I have a 5ch 1000w kicker amp to power my alpine type r speakers and two 500w mono alpine amps to power my 2 type r 12" subs. All this and my hu is still connected to the factory amp so my factory dash speakers still work. I haven't had the time to change them out. Maybe take it to a local stereo shop, NOT best buy or circuit city, they'll hook you up and make everything work perfect. It's no impossible becuase mine work.
