2005 for 15k? no.....i would pass will cost you close to 1k to go get it. unless you buy it sight unseen and have it shipped....but thats risky.
i did a quick search from LA to dulles is 2650 miles about.....lets say you get 15 mpg average....176 gallons just to get back at $4.00 a gallon......$704......plus your ticket there.....oil change when you get back....another $50? food & hotel for the 44 hour drive....yep Well over 1k.
