Hey everyone, i just have a quick question on how to take off the daytona wing, i have to haul some stuff. I have already removed the single front bolt on both sides, and slid the wing back, cuz i heard thats what you do to get it off. It will not budge when i try and lift it up, any help is greatky appreciated!

 

anybody? sorry im just in a rush, i gotta get up at like 5 tomorow to go move some furniture, i just really need help with this one.

 

Thats all there is to it. You also have 2 tethers on each side that you have to remove the tail lights to get off but that shouldn't affect pulling it up. Are you sure you slid it back all the way?

 

im pretty sure i did, it didnt seem to wanna go back any further. It only went back maybe an inch or less, should i just use some muscle? i mean im a strong kid, just maybe im too timid to hurt it? but if you say it goes past a half inch or inch then ill pull, i know the strap things, they attach to the latches to shut the tailgate and go through the taillight assembly area, but they have slack and the wing wont lift up off the paint, thanks for the help but if you could help me a little more haha thanks!

ok thanks, just to make sure, there is only 1 bolt on each side up on the front of the wing, and then i slide it back? thats the only think i have to undo?
