Default 08 Dodge Ram Issues

I know take it too the dealer .. My 08 Ram is on the fritz Today check Engine Light on, Oil pressure,Cooling Gauge dont work then work.. Any 1 else have any issues like this ..cant wait for monday to talk too dealer They suck..

Did you pull any codes from the check engine light? Take it to an auto parts store and have them hook up their scan tool and post the codes here.

Sounds like the engine control module or the gauge module both covered under warranty....I know not cool when you purchase a new vehicle but given the times, Chrysler is most cooperative now, as all the Manufactures are suffering. So be prepared for much hand wringing and apologies, and hopefully a quick fix.

If not from your dealer then go direct to Chrysler

Could try to reset the PCM to see if that helps...easy enough to do.

With Ignition off, remove fuse # 31
get in the truck, close door and buckle seat belt (keeps the 5 ding alarm quiet)
turn the key to ON (not start)
wait about 10-20 seconds and you should hear one or two dings
turn key to off
replace fuse #31

Probably a bad gauge cluster...at least it's covered

I had this issue in my 05 dodge, I removed the positive battery cable, re-connected it, it reset the computer, the engine light never came on again.
