Chip or Programmer for my 05 5.7
I have an 2005 ram 1500 wit the 5,7 hemi, an would like to kno if i should run a chip or a programmer?? an wich product should i use?
any info will be much appreciated..

alright ill look into that..
any 1 else kno if i should even use a chip/programmer with K&N cai, headers, exaust, Power wire..

The only "chip" available is the Jetchip and it is complete garbage. It does make a nice paper weight.
You have an 05, so you have two options- Superchips or SCT. Superchips is good if you have a mostly stock truck with just basic mods (intake, exhaust). If you are heavily modded (cam, heads, etc) than SCT is the way to go.

Superchips 3815 has been a very popular programmer for the 5.7L HEMI trucks... We have received HALF (2 of 4) of all the HYPERTECH programers back as the customers where NOT satisfied with the gains... So we tend to push the SUPERCHIPS over the HYPERTECH. We sell many more Superchips and never see them returned. Thats just what we see... To me its clear that the superchips is a better product gauging from average customer experience.
