Smile cheap way to lower and....

i have a black 08 dodge ram quad cab 1500 i am wanting to lower it but i dont want to spend too much when i can go cheap because i only want to lower it like 2 inches just to give it some style anybody know a cheap way to go...
and i am also thinking about powder coating the stock 20" rims, stripping all of the emblems off, and blacking out the tail lights and smoking the headlights, i would really appreciate some info and input.
thanks.

I answered your lowering question in your other post. If you have the chrome rims you cant powder coat them because they are plastic. I blacked out my truck, pics in my profile.

You can media blast the chrome off, machine finish with accent paint on em would look sweet IMO. Thats what is like to do if i can get my grubby lil fingers on some stock 06 and newer 20's

Better yet just peel off the chrome/plastic trim that covers the steel rims, then paint if there 08 stock rims

They are just the normal steel ones that's why it would look baddd if they were powdercoated black
