Hood scoops
No, the materials to paint are over 200.00.
If you want the hood painted they can hook you up
with one of the best. Also, there was no fitting that had to be done on my truck, but usually even with a factory
new steel hood, some adjustment is necessary.

What's up with the "quotations"? Did you just run your mouse over that and copy/paste instead of using the quote button?
Any hood unless it's metal and even then, you will need some kind of prep work. There's no such thing as paintable right outta the box. I really doubt that $600 is including paint. When i got quotes for my mustang hood, body shops wanted $550-$600 just for paint not including prep! I just want to add.....YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR with hoods.
I'm not saying there won't be any prep work, but it will be considerably less and that means your hood will have fewer problems down the road.

This man is correct.
.
this is very true...i ordered a factor hood for an old '67 i was building and even it had to be adjusted but those hoods had...slots, i guess is the best way to describe them, that way you could adjust it.
Well I have finally decided on getting the Extractor Hood from Suncoast RamAir Hoods, Its one of those things that just grows on you the more you look at it and that pic of it on the blue truck on the first page just doesn't do that hood any good and honestly turn me away from it until I saw this pic from the manufacture's web page

Another good selling point for me was that with a very minor modification to my CAI I can make it a full functional ramair hood like it was intended to be instead of being just for looks.
The only thing that is really stopping me from completely pulling the trigger on it at this very moment is trying to find a shop that will do the work for me and get it fitted and painted the way I want it to be. So far though alot of the shops I have talked to wont do it for one reason or another or just have not gotten back to me yet. But once I find a place that will do the work the hood will be ordered.

I'm a leo and i love that hood. any reasoning behind that?
I'm not a Leo, and I'm drawn to that hood.
But that women part don't sound too bad
I don't know what kind of hood I'd get, were I to ever get one.
