Just got mine yesterday (high polish). Man, that was fast shipping! I love it, great quality. And for 50 bucks including shipping, uh yeah baby! I will be putting it on tonight and will snap a pic.

 

So what color on my 08 dodge ram guys, the paint is Mineral Grey.
I am thinking either the line grain or black...

was a little hard to install at 2 in the morning but damn was it worth it

 

Has anyone installed on a 2008? The instructions say 96-01? I got mine, but have not had a chance yet to put it on.

 

Its a little difficult on a 08 I truly don't think it is designed for a 08 that was built after March 08. I have a black powder coats one and it looks great but I had to dremell out a little of the top bolts so it would sit flush Let me know if ya need anymore help

 

Got it on. Not too bad, had to drill out some of one hole, but no biggie. Looks great. Came with three nuts that were the same size and one smaller one. It would have been nice to have 2 smaller ones for the side opposite the hinge.

 

thought i would post up my custom one i just finished today. started life as chrome and now has a high gloss black outter ring, with a paint matched center! its great idea for those that cant find the perfect fit for your truck! or if you want to be unique, which is the reason why i did mine!

 

mmstar23, where did you get the locking one?

 

not to intrude on solid by design's sales, but i just got a chrome one, made by bully. stripped down the chrome and sanded like crazy. laid down the primer, base and a few coats of clear.

 

I got mine the other day and painted the center piece black.
