how do you guys stop your engine from getting completely covered when out muddin? **** got covered and now stuffs started to break..

I don't know any way to keep it from getting dirty. That's why you get a $500 truck for mudding, and your nice truck for everything else.

Perhaps an underbody offroad cover. Ive seen some lifted rigs with skid plates covering stuff up.

Water and a hose. Clean it when you are done. Don't leave the engine bay covered in mud acting like a blanket to retain heat and sitting there possible seeping into areas it shouldn't be for long periods of time.

Mudding may be fun, but just like a boat that is ran in salt water. Don't clean it after use and you are going to have major problems and real fast.

I powerwash the engine and all underneath the truck after off roading.

LOL took my brand new 08 mudding owned for 1 week and $20.00 still cleaning off the mud. It was a blast but I think I'll stay out of the mud for a while unless I find a faster way to clean it up. My daily driver and it has to last I was just curious as to what it would do in the mud and it sure didn't disapoint.
