hey guys thinkin of gettin an 04 ram 1500 w/hemi, i was wonderin what the cd player installation kit that holds the aftermarket cd player in the dash looks like, anyone got some pics ?

While that's a nice pic, the dash of the 2004 is the older style.

This is pretty much what it would look like. This is a Durango, but this part of the dash is pretty close to the same and from reading your post it seems like you really just want to see what the dash kit would look like.

it does look a little out of place with the kits and the trim you have to put in with the single din setup

Yeah I'm not really a fan of how mine looks. Wish I just saved the money and put it towards a double din dash and head unit.

i had the money for a double din unit, but can't do a double din dash on pre 06 without moderate modification. wasn't really feelin cuttin my dash up, and i really wanted the mp3 playability.

I was actually more tentative to cutting the dash when I didn't know about the prefabbed double din bezels being made. Now that I know those are sold and the only cutting is behind the dash it's not so bad.

pcollins, is that a metra kit? it seems to fit better than mine.

do yourself a favor and buy metra stuff instead of scosche stuff. i'm really not happy with their quality (breaking) and fitment.
