hey all, i just recently purchased my 04 ram qc hemi this past may and i've been searching the web for as much info as i can find on my truck. this is how i found this great site. any way i'm starting to wonder if my truck was a wreck-rebuild( i never carfaxed it at the time, it was agreat deal). the truck has the off-road spec wheels, aluminum 17 inch but not much else. no skid plates, no fog lights, no trailer hitch but the wireing is, it has the infinity speakers and premium radio(casette and cd). the is also a factory sticker on the front axle that says 3.77 gears (4x4).what exactly comes with the off-road package? the reason i ask is at work the other day i saw the same exact truck, paint, wheels and all except this truck had the off0road stickers on the bed. thanks carl

 

off road package comes with skid plates, fog lights, locking diff, and 3 selections of 4wd, full time, part time, and low.

The truck probably has 3.73 or 3.92 gears and a Limited slip not a locking diff.

 

I just bought an 04 Ram 1500 with the offroad package. I have the red shocks and tow hooks but whats this the 3 position four wheel drive? I thought my transfer case has

I have an 04 1500 sc 4x4 with the off road package. If it is the real thing you should have the 3.92 LSD, tow hooks, cooling package, skid plates, fog lights, flamboyantly red bilstein shocks, 17 inch alloys and the badges on the side of the bed.

 

i think my truck is a halfling.

got skids, hitch, tow hooks, fogs, cooling package, 4x4, but OPEN 3.92, NO red shocks, and 20s

 

Some trucks come with an electronic shift 4wd with 2wd High, Neutral, 4wd Auto, 4wd High, 4wd Low.

 

OK. Well I got everything listed above. Red shocks,hooks,skid plates,3.92 LSD and the Offroad stickers on the bed... Thanks.
