I was thinking of *smoking* my stock 06 taillights using the usual method, taking them off and painting over with the *tint* stuff.... however I thought it might be cool to put some designs down instead of the whole thing just being black.

I photoshopped these ones just giving myself ideas.... It seems most the custom aftermarket ones look somewhat similar to what I did, kind of.


Just an cheap alternative for a custom look.. I don't think I have seen someone do it yet. Most just paint the whole thing black.... I think they would be legal 2 since most of the light is showing thru the designs.

I like the ram logo in the center as for the top and bottom I will probably play with the shapes.

Let me know what you guys think I will probably end up doing it soon. All I would do is print out the designs onto sticker paper, cut them out and tape them onto the tails before painting over it. (In theory...)

Edit: I erased all the crappy ones. Maybe I will make photoshop templates people can print out and use on their dodges after I am done. Theres a ton of possible combinations you could do... flames.. logos ect.

I like the last one. But make the dodge just a tad bigger.

Those ones look sweet. I agree with the last one, make the Dodge bigger, and maybe get rid of the flames, and replace it with Ram. That would look pretty sweet. That would be a great idea.

 

I would do just the Ram symbol on the middle one and black the rest out but keep the reverse light open so you can still see.
