im getting ready to purchase the kit for my truck; so if your truck is pre-wired and you buy the kit for the pre-wired truck you STILL have to buy a jumper harness? im confused. lol...

If your truck is prewired all you need is the kit, install in minutes basically but you need to run it to a dealer to activate them with the starscan tool
