Default Kind of bumed on

I have a 04 hemi 1500. Not to stoked on the fact that the weather stripping on the door rubs when it rains. Has anyone had this problem? Also I sometimes have a ticking sound coming from the lifters or the valves. Usually in the morning while its warming up.................[sm=headbang.gif]

The ticking noise is normal.

The weather strip problem may be soemthing the dealer can adjust. I heard of a couple Dakotas that used to do it.

I'm the parts manager at a Chrysler dealer in Alberta... there's an updated weatherstrip available now (I already had it done to my 04 DR1500) - part# 55275616AC (interchangeable to each side - front doors).

Cool thanks a lot. I'll check it out. But shouldn't it be covered under warranty?

yes, it should be covered under your std warranty (3yr/60,000 km or 36,000 miles)... mine was covered - I've only got 12000km on mine yet; much better weatherstrip design in the new ones (only 1 "bubble" instead of 2).

There is a TSB on the weatherstrip, but I've heard may say it tears also. The ticking is not normal though many Hemi's have it and the dealer may not be able to fix it. Mine doesn't tick.
