Don't mean to hijack the thread but I am in the same boat trying to decide between black or chrome side steps.

I have a 2006 Sport, so it's all black already (except the rims, which are not the ones that came with it). I am 90% decided on the black Westin's.

Oh and I have a stainless Magnaflow side exit exhaust on the passenger side (before rear tire) so that the only reason I was thinking about chrome... and I will probably be adding a toolbox in the bed soon which may be chrome, stainless or black (depending on $).

Thanks!

I had chrome on my truck and changed them over to black. Like the black better, chrome is a little to fancy for my liking.

Also, it is always good to see someone using the search function

Hehe thanks... figured it's better to post onto this one since it's the exact same thing!

I love your truck... those wheels look amazing in black. My truck came with the same ones but chromed... swapped them over to an OEM 17" Dodge wheel to make tires much more affordable when going off-pavement

Black for sure. I am doing black powdercoat. Black is just slick looking period. But then again I'm not a chrome guy.
