I've got the Gibson dual split rear exit on my 07 quadcab. It sounds good, but not as good as my 03 HEMI with the Gibson Supertruck exhaust... I miss that truck! Anyway, the MDS does change the sound of any aftermarket exhaust. It's not too horrible in my opinion, but don't get me wrong, I don't like the way the MDS sounds. My MDS activates maybe 1% of my total driving (due to my heavy foot) so I can live with it.

I believe I paid $425 shipped to my door and I put it on in the driveway. It took about an hour. A dremel tool, & wd40 really speed things up.

I didn't realize you didn't have MDS. The exhaust will probably work great on your truck then. The MDS is what killed it for me. But the exhaust did sound really good when you were getting on it. I had it when gas was like 4.60 so I was really easy on the gas and the MDS engaged all the time. If i had a non MDS truck I'd get that exhaust back ASAP. In my opinion it sounds louder than magna flow and more refined then flow master. I also liked the single better because everyone and their brother has dual exhaust by me that is half fallin off or all crooked. I got my exhasut for 350 (aluminized) and had it on in about an hour with two sockets. The did a great job fitting it.

I paid ~ $500 delivered and installed it in the garage. It took me about three hours to install it and a K&N FIPK II. It was real easy using basic hand tools. No welding required.
