Look at my signature.....there they are.....steel wheels in all of their glory with plastic chrome cover things. I do like them though. I may get some of the Cragar Soft 8s, though.

Default steel rims on 1500?

I was going to put new rims on my stock 07 ram 1500. I wanted to put steel rims on for the extra durability for off-roading and i was told the steel rims (even with a backspace of 4.5) grind on the brake caliper and to buy the aluminum wheels because for the same stats they don't grind. has any one had this problem before, or herd of it happening?

If you are buying stock wheels, then they will not grind at all, regardless of steel or aluminum.
