Default 2007 headlights on a 2005

would a set of 2007 headlights work on my 2005 truck without major mods? the newer headlights look soo much better!

Not without replacing the front fenders. The lights are a completely different shape.

I'm not sure. I've seen pictures of some done, but I don't know what they had to do. However, I do remember seeing someone that did not replace their bumper and it looked funny because the bumper has the cutouts for the headlights. I don't know if the grille is a different shape, but I know they moved the logo from the top to the middle of the crossbars.

good observation on the bumper cutouts. didnt even consider that. hope it doesnt run me too much $$ and it look like crap

You will need it all to make it look right.

Fenders, bumper, grill and lights, but hey, you can keep your hood. Not worth it by any means.

how about some nice reflective paint to give the illusion that you have the 06-08 headlights?! haha
