I'm not sure if that will answer the question. It will pop harder with the SC, so who is to say "that's too loud" over a forum?

The engine has knock sensors that SHOULD keep you from doing any damage, unless you lean the hell out of it and it can't do anything to adjust.

In either case, try not to floor it then suddenly let off, engines don't like that much.
