Well I had bad luck with my truck. Bought my truck brand new. The next day I had to take it in for electrical problems. None of my lights worked. Make a long story short, the truck was at the dealership for 10+ days trying to get it fixed. They had to take the entire interior apart, which really pissed me off. They fixed the problem, turned out that it was a screw that had pinched a cable. Just came like that from factory. I was really pissed knowing that it came like that from the factory BRAND NEW. You would think they check these things. Other issues, noises! The interior of the truck is noisey... seats makes noise, doors make noise. Just general things.. the other day i was driving when I saw a screw fall off from behind the dash hahah... other than that I havent had any more problems with it. It only has about 7000 miles on it.. oh!! the plastic rubber seal thing between the hood and the windshild came off within the first day..

I have an '07 w/ 27k miles on it. I bought it 3 months ago. I've only put about 1200 miles on it so far (hey, it's the summer - the motorcycle gets a workout... and 40 mpg vs. 14). I haven't noticed any issues with it. I am amazed at how quiet it is inside for a Dodge vehicle. I've been pleased with it so far. I am definitely hoping that it will be a solid truck!

This can cause problems with oil consumption in the future...
sorry but myth. most vehicles come with synthetic from the factory. and dealers a lot ot the time will put synthetic in at a first oil change. while break in is good for the first 1k miles or so to get the engine going and other parts of the drivetrain good to go there is nothing wrong with going synthetic. engine valves and rings are seated after the first 300 miles or so. by 3k you are more than ready

my 08 has been perfect so far. great power, quiet interior, very happy with it. had a leaky tire but dealer replaced it and i'm good to go now. tires arn't dodge's fault either. friggin goodyears. saving up for nitto grapplers but that's a ways off.

Yep, the oil cap on the SRT-8 Challenger says Mobil1 Synthetic. 0W40 I think.

I know this thread is about 1500 quality, but I thought I would chime in on my 2500. I order my truck in January and got it in mid-April. I love the truck. I only have about 2500 miles on it now. Most of those miles were hauling a 2500 pound camper and/or pulling a 3500 pound boat. This truck really likes to work. When I first was looking I was considering a CTD. I changed my mind due to the fact I could get a lifetime warranty with a Hemi. I am glad I made that decision. The Hemi rocks!

05 qc 4.7 with 36000 miles on her. I am enjoying the crap out of this truck. Have put right at 3000 pnds in the bed and moved it very easily, not bad for a half-ton rated truck! I have also towed right at 5000 pnds. and not noticed any problems whatsoever.
I am begginning to notice some rattling in the front while going over small rug-board bumps in the road, but i think i have broken exhaust hanger{not the factory fault} its after market. But all in all i am pleased!

I bought my truck a year ago, it's an 02 and has 276,000 km on it and still drives better than my cousins 07. By the way the 07 has been back for the front shocks and is waiting for new tierods (they are on back-order) and it only has 35,000 kms. Oh and it had the stereo replaced. But man them Hemis are stout.

07 with 12K on her. Shes had shocks replaced, cab realligned with the bed, and i have to take it in for blown speakers and a drivers seat that squeaks, (no im not a fat bastard), lol. Over all i love the truck besides the few details ive had done. Its a man made machine and we as people are not perfect. Id buy another new dodge again without hessitation.
