Default New Exhaust?

I have looking for a new exhaust system for my 04 4.7L Dodge Ram 2wd reg cab short bed. I was looking at the cherry bomb vortex cat back and was also looking at various flowmaster kits. I want something loud, but something that is legal for NJ...any ideas? THANKS

Does anyone know what the size is of the muffler for 04 4.7L Dodge Ram 2wd reg cab short bed? I'm thinking about just getting a new muffler instead of an entire system. Would this be hard to do because of the bracket on the muffler, would i have to make a new bracket?

3" pipe size. Just have a local muffler shop install a better muffler, because you will have to add pipe due to the good mufflers are much shorter than the stocker.

I have the same truck you have. I had a flowmaster 44 with dual pipes and switched to a summit glasspack for 20 bucks with the stock tailpipe. If you want loud I would deffinitly suggest a glasspack. And I would just add the muffler. It doesnt matter what size it is, just take it to a muffler shop and theyll put it on for about 50 bucks.
