rear diff on 2003 1500

Default rear diff on 2003 1500

what diff would be in my truck its a 2003 1500 2wd with the 4.7L and what is a good locker to put into it ?

I believe it's a 9.25" diff.
I've just junked the old stock crappy clutch type LSD with the retaining clip problems that grenade and destroy the diff.
I put a Detroit TruTrac in it's place.
So far so good.
The truck drives more smoothly and the LSD engages great.
Most times you don't even know it's back there.

That's the first i have heard of a Chrysler axle being called corporate. I thought the corporate designation applied to the GM axles like the 14 bolt. I always hear the 9.25 refered to as the "Chrysler 9.25".

I got my auburn diff installed about a month ago. and im really happy with it.

That's what the Dodge website called it when I built my Ram online before they redesigned the site. It may even say it on my window sticker, but it isn't next to me at the moment.
It was called a Corporate LD differential.
