Alright so when it starts to get cold out and before school i go outside to warm my truck up i turn it on and the check gauge light comes on every morning i turn my truck back off and on and its fine does anything no what is wrong with it?

 

try not turning it off and putting it into drive and see what happens. I had this happen to me last winter. When I would try and drive the engine wouldn't rev up. I turned it off and restarted and it was fine. But if yours doesn't do that then I have no clue. Mine was something to do with the throttle body and something on it was recalled
