Sorry for the inconvenience.

Allthough we try to gain as many computer files as we can during pre-production to cover every vehicle on the road but some times we are not able to get them all.

When we see a file that is new to us we have to take the data from the user VIA the internet update and build a file for that customer on the spot.

That usually takes 5-7 business days max. Then you will be emailed about the file being available and they would then just upload it from the Superchips server and load it into their vehicle from there.

It happens to every tuning manufacturer when a new product is released unfortunately.

I know that this is a small inconvenience to you as a customer but please know that we try very hard to resolve the issue in a timely manner for you when it happens because we definitely want you to enjoy the product.

NO CALIBRATION SUPPORT AT THIS TIME (WTF) called superchips it is going to be 7 to 10 days before i get my updates. these tuners have nothing in them. when you download the stock file it stores it into the tuner. when you download the update it sends your stock file to sc so they can do the calibrations. and then send you the final update. right now i have a 400.00 paper weight. just given you people a heads up just incase it happens to someone

Scott.... I just want to double check before I buy since all the web sites before said my vehicle was covered and SuperChips Tech Support said it wasn't.... And still no email from SuperChip Tech support after my second letter asking them if they are sure it's not covered since it is listed on there products... I just don't want to order then have a $400 brick sitting in my tool box.. So the 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 ltr Magnum covered..

Thanks in Advanced,

Jim McDuffie II

Scott@Superchips,

I updated my Tirepaq to a Flashpaq a couple weeks ago (after a week of going back and forth with your tech line). I have been waiting over a week since then for your tech people to provide the updated file so I can tune my '05 Dodge Ram 4.7l (since 27 Oct). I have been driving around with my speedo off (due to my 35" tires) because I had to return my vehicle to stock for the update and am getting a little bent about how long it's taking. My Issue tracking # is 67440 and the file needed is 56028942AD. I would appreciate it if you would look into this and get them rolling.

Respectfully,
Scott Graham

On a personal level, Scott and Ron are both very nice people. On a professional level, the support from SC is horrendous and unacceptable.

Dear Scott,
i bought the flashpaq 3815 for my 4.7 2004 dodge ram. i did the internet update but when it reaches the phase when it says "checking device status" it doesnt do anything and on the flashpaq 1st it says "USB port open" then it says "USB port time out". it already copied the stock files from my truck then said that i am not supported....
this is what happened next. it worked somehow and started to connect to the superchips server then it said error and this is what came up to me "WE'RE SORRY: THERE WAS AN ERROR UPDATING YOUR TUNER
