went to upload the tuner into truck. got as far as reading stock file then tuner said needs and update. went to flashpaq.com and downloaded the required update. tuner came back
NO CALIBRATION SUPPORT AT THIS TIME (WTF) called superchips it is going to be 7 to 10 days before i get my updates. these tuners have nothing in them. when you download the stock file it stores it into the tuner. when you download the update it sends your stock file to sc so they can do the calibrations. and then send you the final update. right now i have a 400.00 paper weight. just given you people a heads up just incase it happens to someone

 

this is on your 05 dak with a 4.7? which superchips tuner model do you have?

 

...as much as the hemi rams are movin to Diablo, you could have waited and got a flashpaq for cheap...(mine included)

 

diablo has no plans with the 4.7 , and hypertech only deals with the 08 and up 4.7. i purchased the 3815, which sc states it is the first to the market with this 4.7

 

hmm..thats interesting...I just helped a guy with a 3815 (that he bought from another member...ram) install tuning on a 4.7 Dak and it runs great (not sure what year it was)

 

he might be one of the lucky ones

 

What firmware is your Flashpaq updated to? They had a new firmware released on Oct 31 (fimware version 1.25) that says it deals with an error on the '05 Dak.

Ok.... Now i'm really confused !!! I wrote and called SuperChip about a month ago and they told me they don't support the 4.7 magnum for the Ram even though there web page says it does and other dealers have info and sell there product says it supports the 4.7 magnum..

So what is the deal do they or do they not support the 4.7 ????

I thought the update was for the 2004's and up?

 

Correct 04-07 4.7L is now an option in the 3815 Flashpaq and 3950 Cortex.
