I'm looking @ a superchips from a private party, is there a quick way upon pickup to verify it's "good" and not already programmed to a truck? I've never seen one in person, so I don't know what I'm looking at.

The only way to tell is to hook it up to your truck. As long as they returned the truck back to stock it will be fine. If not it would say its vin locked, meaning the stock program is saved to the tuner from that truck.

yea, if you hook can't hook it up yo a truck, hook up to a usb port on a PC, once it has power from the PC, you can see if it's VIN locked or not...
