tail light not working

Default tail light not working

i have an 04 1500, and my passenger tail light doesnt work...the blinker and brake lights both work as well as the reverse light...tried changing the bulbs but nothing...any ideas?

Probably a bad assembly. Did you check for 12V in the harness to the light?

no not yet...i havent checked anything except for the bulbs

It's most likely a bad tail light strip(the bar or strip with 3 bulbs in it). the 04's are known for them. Get a new one at the dealer or online.

tail light circuit boards are only 20$ each from the dealer. it solved all my tail light issues.and that stupid "lamp out.....ding,ding,ding,ding". they told me at the dealer that they sell alot of them.

YUP, it was bad. i plugged in the other side to check it. i'll try to guilt trip the dealer before i pay him, cut a little more money off the price. electrical diagnoses can be expensive sometimes.
