my friend just got a 08 ram. sweet truck tons of fun. on the front of the radio is a aux input jack i guess for a male to male 3.5mm cable to use with well i guess anything that has this pretty standard jack. i know i can just go to the store and but it, but everything is closed and we are going to the giants game tomorrow(leaving at 7am). i was wondering if i could make one some how with some old headphones or if the cable is more than just that? and if that is possible if someone could kinda walk me through making one.

Walmart 24/7. Got mine in the automotive stereo section for less than $4. It is a double male cable.

Thereis a chance of noise in the system when you cut them to splice them because you lose the shielding.
